SSC

School Site Council (SSC) is the main decision-making body made up of parents, teachers, school staff, and student representatives. SSC meets and confers on a monthly basis to implement the educational goals formulated by the School's Single Plan for Student Achievement (SPSA) with the written recommendations from the parent advisory committee (ELAC). 

 

Parents and Community members are encouraged to get involved with School Site Council (SSC) to help make decisions on parent policies, schoolwide plans and the distribution of Title I funds to offer support to at-risk students and English learners.  

 

Meetings are open to the public and we ask that all persons attending to be courteous during all the public meetings. In the Parent Center, we have posted Operating Norms, per the district policy. Please note that only members of the Council and committees may vote; however, the agenda allows for public comment. Those individuals wishing to be on the agenda must submit a motion at the designated time at each meeting.
