Principal's Message
Dear Franklin Families,
Welcome to the 2025–2026 school year! Whether you're returning or joining us for the first time, we're truly grateful to have you as part of the Franklin community. We’re so excited to begin the new school year together on Thursday, August 14.
We know that this summer has been a tough one for many in our city, especially families affected by recent immigration enforcement and other hardships. Franklin has always been, and will always be, a safe and welcoming place for every student and every family. No matter your background or what you’ve been through, you belong here. You're valued, you're seen, and you matter.
We’re standing firmly by our commitment to support every student’s right to learn, grow, and feel safe while doing it. And we know that learning doesn’t happen in a vacuum. Mental health and well-being are essential, especially now. This year, we remain committed to building a school culture where students feel connected, cared for, and never alone in what they’re facing. We want every student to know it’s okay to ask for help and where no one has to navigate hard things alone.
There’s a lot to be excited about. Over the summer, our staff prepared thoughtfully, and we can’t wait to welcome you back to a campus full of life and energy. Soon, our hallways will be alive again—with laughter, with learning, with friendships old and new, and with students stepping into all the possibilities that lie ahead.
There’s so much to look forward to—new classes, new clubs, and the chance to keep shaping a school community that reflects the best of who we are. Thank you for trusting us with your child. It’s a responsibility we hold with great care and respect.
Let’s make this year unforgettable—together. With heart. With courage. And with Panther pride.
Warmly,
Marine Davtyan
