An ensemble focused on musical technique, tone development, and performance excellence through diverse repertoire. These ensembles are active year-round.
Color Guard
This is a performance-based activity that blends dance, theatre, music, and equipment work into a visually expressive art from. Color guard is typically associated with our marching band in the fall semester and work independently during the winter/spring season.Color Guard performers use equipment that is combined with choreographed dance, facial expressions and storytelling, coordination with live or recorded music.
Spring Drum Line Ensemble (Winter line)
This drum line is separate from our marching band and concert band. This ensemble performs indoors during the spring semester and it is made up of instruments such as snare drums, tenor drums, bass drums, cymbals, marimbas, xylophone, and auxiliary percussion. We perform stationary as well as marching shows.
Orchestra
Students develop string technique and ensemble skills while performing classical and modern pieces of music.
Instruments (Beginning)
This is a class where students learn the basics of playing an instrument, reading music notation, music vocabulary.
